Covid -19 Protocol

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to Health Canada, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By attending a Ford Driving Skills for Life event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Help keep each other healthy.

Due to the concern of the risks associated with COVID-19, our schedule is subject to change.

Please note our added safety measures

Instructors are fully vaccinated

We strongly recommend that all Guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending an event

Masks should be worn by anyone who is not fully vaccinated. Masks will be available if requested.

Reduced class size. Instructor to Student ratio reduced

Touchpoints in classrooms/cars are cleaned

Proper social distancing will always be recommended

Hand sanitizer will be readily available. A hand washing station will be available on course

Chaperones, parents or legal guardians of teens may attend

HEALTH ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Guests who are under isolation or quarantine orders must not attend the Ford Driving Skills for Life event. By attending, you are confirming that you and all persons in your party are not:

  1. Experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 identified by Health Canada, including:
    • Fever or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  2. In contact with or have been in contact with, someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a CDC-recommended quarantine.
  3. Under any self-quarantine orders.

Guests who cannot confirm all the above criteria must not attend the Ford Driving Skills for Life event. If at any point during their visit, a Guest does not meet all the above criteria, they and their traveling party will be required to isolate and may be asked to leave the property.
